ROCKWOOL Product Information

ROCKWOOL stone wool is inorganic and contains no nutritious substance. Therefore it will not be attacked by microorganisms. Stone wool will not rot and does not attract vermin. No CFCs, HFCs, HCFCs, or asbestos are used in the manufacture of ROCKWOOL stone wool products.

ROCKWOOL – ThermalRock is a stone wool insulation product made from basalt, a volcanic stone with a melting point of approximately 1000o C.  ROCKWOOL – ThermalRock products is the fire performance of the insulation material,  it can effectively impede the spread of fire and provide the critical extra minutes for occupants to escape as it does not contribute to fire load within the building.  It is available in ThermalRock S, slab products or ThermalRock B, blanket products to suit different roofing designs.
